BTCCSquare news:

Hyperliquid is advancing into prediction markets with a novel proposal called outcome trading, designed to facilitate event-based contracts without reliance on leverage or liquidation mechanics common in crypto derivatives. The feature, outlined in HIP-4, will be supported by HyperCore, Hyperliquid's Core engine, enabling fully collateralized contracts that settle within fixed ranges.

Outcome trading aims to introduce non-linearity and dated contracts, positioning itself as a versatile primitive for applications like prediction markets and bounded options-style instruments. The development is currently in testnet phase, with plans for canonical markets post-technical completion.

This MOVE signals Hyperliquid's broader strategy to expand its ecosystem, integrating outcome trading with existing features like portfolio margin and HyperEVM to empower developers building on its platform.
